Accessibility statement
Last updated 22 October 2026
We aim for every calculator to be usable with a keyboard, a screen reader, zoom up to 400 % and on small screens, following WCAG 2.2 level AA.
What we do
- Every input has a visible label that includes its unit for screen readers; errors are linked to the field they describe.
- Results update as you type and are announced politely, without moving focus.
- All controls work with the keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
- Colour is never the only way information is shown, and text meets contrast requirements in light and dark themes.
- Motion is minimal and respects the “reduce motion” setting; translucent panels become solid with “reduce transparency”.
- Automated accessibility checks (axe-core) run on key pages before each release.
Known limitations
Automated tools catch only part of the picture, and we have not yet completed a manual audit with assistive-technology users.
Report a barrier
If something is hard to use, please tell us which page and what happened. We treat accessibility barriers as bugs.
